Table Self-Ordering
A flow where diners order - and sometimes pay - directly from their phone at the table, without waiting for a server to take the order.
With table self-ordering the diner opens the digital menu on their phone, picks dishes, and sends the order straight to the kitchen - sometimes with payment attached. Each table is identified by a unique tag or code so the order lands in the right place.
The model suits cafes, bars, and high-traffic venues where waiting for a server slows table turnover. When the order connects to the POS it registers automatically and prints in the kitchen. In places where personal service is part of the experience, self-ordering typically handles only part of the journey.
